General

Every DAW behaves slightly differently in plugin hosting. That's why we want to give you tips and tricks for the best workflow with Vovious. Here you will find up-to-date information on how to integrate Vovious into your DAW and information about possible compatibility changes.

If your DAW isn't listed here, it doesn't mean Vovious won't work! We recommend downloading the free 30-day trial version of Vovious and testing it in your DAW.

ARA (Audio Random Access)

When running Vovious as VST3 or AudioUnit (AU v2) plugin, there are two different ways:

  • ARA 2 Mode (if supported by your host; more information about ARA on Wikipedia)
  • Non-ARA Mode

If your DAW supports ARA 2, this is the preferred mode for running Vovious!
